My son finished the 151 pieces in about an hour and was so proud of the working kickstand and steering that he immediately started racing it around the living room. The yellow body really pops, and the build was sturdy enough to survive a few tumbles off the coffee table without needing repairs.
The kickstand holds the bike upright really well, so my kid can display it on the shelf between play sessions. Assembly took about an hour with the clear instructions, and the yellow body panels snap on satisfyingly tight.
My son tore through this 151-piece set in one afternoon, and the working chain and moving pistons really impressed him. For a Technic starter set, it's got a nice chunky feel once assembled, and he's already rebuilt it twice.
