The pieces are noticeably larger than my last few puzzles, which made it much easier for my 11-year-old to handle without squinting. We spent a rainy afternoon piecing together the seahorse and octopus corner, and the jellyfish's gradient was tricky but satisfying.
The colors on this reef puzzle are so vivid it feels like you're snorkeling while you're putting it together, especially the octopus. My 12-year-old finished it in two evenings and was genuinely sad when it was over. The oversized pieces made it easy for her to handle without frustration.
The colors are so vivid and lifelike, it felt like I was actually snorkeling while assembling. Each piece clicks together with that satisfying, snug fit, and the large format made it easy for my 11-year-old to handle without frustration.
