My daughter finished the bumblebee disc in one afternoon and immediately asked to start the ladybug next. The holes are pre-drilled just right for a kid's first time threading a needle, and the plastic needle is safe enough that I didn't hover.
The wooden discs are sturdy and the insect designs are adorable—my daughter finished the bee in one afternoon. The plastic needle is perfect for her age, no pokes or frustration.
My 11-year-old picked it up right away—the pre-printed designs on the wooden discs make it easy to follow. The plastic needle is a relief for my nerves, and the thread colors are vibrant enough to keep her engaged.
