My one-year-old figured out how to snap the raccoon together in about ten minutes, and the blocks are solid enough that they survive being thrown across the room. The spiky porcupine pieces are her favorite to yank apart, which keeps her busy way longer than I expected.
The connectors are chunky enough that my toddler can snap them together without help, and she’s already figured out how to make a wobbly bear. The paint job on these wooden pieces is bright and smooth, no rough edges at all, which makes me feel good about letting her chew on them during playtime.
My 14-month-old loves snapping the raccoon together—the pieces are chunky enough for her to grip, and the wood feels really solid. We’ve already built the fox twice today, and it’s held up to some serious toddler chewing.
