Zoe R. ★★★★★

The game’s pacing is perfect for my kids—quick turns keep them focused, and the pilgrim/merchant/artist split adds just enough strategy without getting messy. Played it three times in one weekend, and it holds up great as a standalone.

Daniel C. ★★★★★

The mechanic of juggling three separate characters sounds fiddly on paper, but it flows surprisingly smoothly in practice. My kids and I have played it four times this week, and the pilgrim’s slow-burn strategy versus the merchant’s quick gains keeps everyone guessing.

Hazel U. ★★★★★

I was a little worried the three-character mechanic would feel clunky with two players, but the pilgrim versus merchant strategies actually create some really tense choices. We’ve already played three rounds in one sitting, and each one felt totally different.
